If it was up to me Barrosa would strictly be a late game pinch runner/emergency OF but I guess I can live with just 1 start every 2 series. Really wish all those extra AB’s went to Tawa though, who has far more upside today and long term #DBacks

Jorge Barrosa is a career .141 hitter w/ just 2 walks in 95 PA’s.
Lawlar should play every day, but even if you want to sit him today Tim Tawa should 100% be in the lineup instead historically bad Jorge Barrosa

Saint Mary's had only one senior on its 2025-26 roster that went 27-6 and finished No. 22 in the NET Rankings. Bennett could potentially bring several impact players with him. Soph guards Joshua Dent and Mikey Lewis and junior forward Paulius Murauskas were first-team All-WCC.

BREAKING: Arizona State is finalizing a five-year deal with Saint Mary's Randy Bennett to make him the Sun Devils' next head coach, sources told me and @PeteThamel. Bennett is an Arizona native who has led Saint Mary's to 12 NCAA tournament appearances since taking over in 2001.
