Here's how to get started: • hit the retweet button (yes, we're still calling them tweets) • reply with the hashtag #NoDemUnder1k • find other accounts with less than 1k followers in the replies, in the retweets, or using the hastag and follow them (it all hinges on you being proactive) • follow everyone that follows you back (it can't work if you're not proactive) If you've found your one thousand followers here, find one person you can support and reweet and help them get to 1k. If you haven't, there are a few things you can do to make it a lot easier: • add a profile pic, even if it's not you • add something identifying you being pro democracy in your bio, especially #NoDemUnder1k • engage with others by commenting, liking, and retweeting • block trolls/check the "lists you're on" tab and block the accounts that put you on troll lists • and if people follow you, vet them and follow them back This place in some ways mirrors a neural network in that the more connections we all have, the more resilient the entire system is, and working in unison, we can do far more than any individual one of us can alone. If we all have a community here, and we can all find our voices, we can take what we learn here and share it with people in real life, in our communities, and be difference that puts Biden over the top. Biden isn't going to win this election for us, we're going to have to win it for him and save democracy for ourselves.
