Apparently, I wasn’t “civilized” or “professional” enough when I publicly lamented on the institutional crackdown on free speech and wrote about an image of a young Palestinian girl my daughter’s age who’s head was blown off by an Israeli bomb in 2024, so my teaching contract was not renewed at Sheridan College. The exact message was “your social media post went against the college’s code of civility and professionalism” for professors. Take this as a reminder that higher education institutions are colonial systems of oppression that use the same tactics of the colonizer. Don’t be too loud in your pain and rage when you watch your people getting slaughtered. And don’t complain publicly about HR discipline that feels discriminatory. Watch Black and brown people die, in a “civilized” manner please, and when we reprimand you about your advocacy, be institutionally oppressed more “professionally” please. If these “professional” institutions don’t care about 680,000+ dead Palestinian children, women, men, why should we suppress our freedom of thought and speech in order to protect Zionist “feelings” of discomfort? My message to these colonial institutions that claim moral and professional superiority: Take a moral stand against the genocide of oppressed occupied peoples, against colonial imperialist terrorism, and only then expect us to abide by your arbitrary institutional “moral values” and “professional” conduct rules.

We have formally challenged my draconian bail conditions imposed by the London Met Police. Following my fourth arrest in under three months, they combined these restrictions: 1. Banned from Palestine events in London. 2. Curfewed to live and sleep at one address. 3. Must notify a detective if I leave my address for more than 48 hours. 4. Not to incite 'hatred, discrimination, or harassment'. 5. Not to 'support' proscribed organisations. All of this is for perfectly lawful and protected speech and social media posts. For naming one ideology of supremacy. For exposing Britain's capture by the 'israel' lobby. For affirming the Palestinian right to armed resistance as per international law. Threatening me with prison is British jewish zionist Simon Myerson who is a King's Counsel barrister, and part time judge. After I gave a speech in Leeds at a Palestine rally last year, Simon contacted the West Yorkshire police, in collaboration with the zionist jewish lobby groups Campaign Against 'Antisemitism' (CAA), Community Security Trust (CST), and Leeds Jewish Representative Council (LJRC) to press for me to be investigated after the police refused to arrest me as advised by these groups. West Yorkshire police refused to arrest or investigate me so my case was moved to the London Met Police who then arrested me four months later for that same speech. The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (JCIO) found that Myerson had engaged in 'an offensive manner' and 'failed to maintain the standards of his judicial office' on X last year. He was given a disciplinary sanction of formal advice for his judicial misconduct. I wonder what the appropriate result would be for him pressing the police to arrest me for legal speech to serve his foreign allegiance to 'israel' and silence me— a part-Palestinian British citizen— who he is now intimidating with jail time?
