🎥 Juliet Lamont, an Australian documentary filmmaker and Gaza flotilla activist, speaks to Double Down News about being raped by Israeli soldiers after the aid vessel she was aboard was intercepted earlier this month. Lamont says soldiers pulled down her trousers and underwear and that an Israeli soldier forcibly penetrated her vagina while she was in detention. She was among more than 450 activists seized when Israeli forces intercepted the Global Sumud flotilla in international waters. ⭕️ A new investigation by The National documents a pattern of Israeli attacks on paramedics, ambulances, civil defense crews, and civilians attempting rescue operations across southern Lebanon. The report details multiple “double-tap” strikes, in which rescuers responding to an initial attack were hit by follow-up strikes. In one case on March 16 in Kfar Sir, a strike hit a village water facility. Paramedics waited 40 minutes before responding, fearing a follow-up attack. Moments after they arrived, a second strike killed Islamic Health Association paramedics Ali Halani and Mahdi Rihan, along with an excavator driver. The National found little evidence the site was a weapons depot.
