ACCD is thrilled to be a part of the Pittsburgh Canopy Alliance, a group of 20+ nonprofits investing in our urban forests. Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate the transformational $8 million grant from @forestservice to plant trees in communities that need it most.

What a pleasure to join @TreePgh @PaDCNRSec Dunn CE- Elect @Innamo and dozens of other partners this morning in McKeesport to celebrate with the Pgh Canopy Alliance their $9 million in funding by the United States Forest Service through the Inflation Reduction Act.

Thanks to @SenBobCasey @SenFettermanPA @RepSummerLee and @RepDeluzio for their support of the act and ensuring that funds were directed to this community. And thanks to the @TreePgh Board for their leadership and advocacy.
