If you are at Pax East and playing the Pokemon Champions demo please coordinate with your opponent the following sequence: Player A mega evolves a fast Mon while player B switches a slow Mon. We want to confirm if Mega Evolution and switches are in the same priority bracket #pax

If this is true, and Mega/switching is on the SAME priority bracket, it's actually a buff to slower Megas over the faster ones.
Mons like Mawile (Hypercutter into Huge power) for no ATK drop or Drampa (If it gets drizzle) for weather wars.

it seems like mega evolving has priority of swapping which means for example metagross with clear body if they decide to mega on the same turn an intimidate Mon switches in, that means metagross gets intimidated now because it loses clear body due to it mega evolving.

@JeredoKi Basically Mega Evolution will happen before the Pokémon switch out when beforehand it was the opposite.
It just changed various ability interactions

Why are we dumbing the game down in multiple ways in order to appease the hypothetical new player who is too dumb to figure out things most current players literally figured out in 5 minutes, often times as children? Do they think people are dumb? Do people like that even exist?
