“Twenty-five years ago, the political class was more willing to engage in open debate.” Today, there is an attempt to cast legitimate criticism of prevailing orthodoxies — whether on diversity, Islam, immigration, or climate change — as misinformation, disinformation, or hate speech. At the heart of the free speech crisis is an unwillingness on the part of the promoters of these policies to defend them in public. Instead of engaging in good-faith debate, they portray critics as beyond the pale. In this relatively recent phenomenon, people are increasingly realising that if they challenge a certain cluster of prevailing orthodoxies, they are likely to be cancelled. They also encourage you to stay off SM, even after the trial has finished. The family liaison are really supportive though, other than strangling your speech.

Failed asylum seeker cleared of raping British woman. A 24-year-old Egyptian national has been found not guilty of raping a British woman in a wooded area in Bournemouth. Mohammed Fathi Eltbie, of no fixed abode, had stood trial at Bournemouth Crown Court over the alleged attack on the woman aged in her 30s. The complainant alleged Eltbie had raped her after she changed her mind and refused to perform a sex act on him after having agreed to do so for money. But Eltbie said the sex was consensual and she only became angry when he gave her his bank card instead of cash. A previous hearing was told he had been refused asylum in January 2025 having entered the UK in July 2023, meaning his asylum status was "uncertain" at the time.

🚨Another imam jailed. Shah Masukur Rashid, 45, who worked as a volunteer imam at a mosque in Cheltenham, has been jailed for six years after being convicted of sexually assaulting two girls aged between five and seven. The offences took place between October 2018 and January 2019. Rashid’s crimes came to light when his young victims were overheard talking to each other and referring to him as “creepy”. When asked why they’d used that word, they told how he had touched them, both over and under their clothing, during their lessons on the Quran.

He spits, screams, insults and threatens, but does not end up in handcuffs. The British police are a joke.

Karandeep Singh from India, living in the UK for 4 years, attempted to sexually abuse a 13-year-old British girl. Caught by British patriots. Karandeep said: “I didn’t know it was illegal here, I just wanted to see her naked.”

In 2006, polling showed that 68% of Muslims in Britain think it should be a criminal offence to insult Islam. So far, Britain has chosen a path of appeasement and capitulation to Islamic blasphemy laws. Since Starmer came to power, cases received by the Free Speech Union of people being penalised for criticising Islam or Muslim cultural practices have increased by a multiple of 4. This was before the 'anti Muslim hostility definition' was introduced by Labour. All 5 members, hand picked by Labour, of the working group that came up with the definition have links to Islamist organisations.

It is right and proper that @RestoreBritain stands in the Makerfield by election. It is a political party and it exists to fight elections. It will not make a blind bit of difference who from the Labour Party leads that party. They are all awful. If Restore can poll well in Makerfield it will overnight become a threat to Reform and the Tories. In that event those parties have a choice. Up their game to see off the threat from Restore or risk being wiped out. That pressure is good for politics and good for the country. @RupertLowe10 has invited me to campaign with him and Rebecca Shepherd in Makerfield on 13 June. I am delighted to accept that invitation. I hope to see lots of Restore and Advance members on that day. Let’s get up to Makerfield and win this for the country!
