In Spider-Man 3, there's a deleted scene where Sandman transforms himself into a sand castle so his daughter can play with him without knowing it's him She hugs the castle. Then her mom calls her away She turns back and the castle is gone Sony cut it..

@OocTobeyM Someone more privy and knowledgable into Frankenstein films may know this, but I can only imagine Raimi's love for (making)horror films and the idea of a "birth" scene of a "creature" really makes me think of the horror monsters of old, even with how Sandman "learns" how to walk.

Spider-Man 3 was released 19 years ago, and very few films still reach this level. The Sandman birth scene is a masterclass: groundbreaking VFX, an incredible score, and powerful visual storytelling that still holds up today.
