We had a go at a new technique today- lino printing! The ladies used foam to carve a design and with ink created art prints from this 🎨🖌️

Today we made pick-pads! These sensory tools are made with silicone and beads, to help replace skin-picking habits with a calming tactile experience, promoting discomfort reduction

Today we created fortune tellers - as self soothing tools! Writing positive affirmations on the inside to remind ourselves in times of distress we can get through this.

A very musical afternoon on the ward! Karaoke followed by learning how to DJ! 💿

Today one of our patients was unfortunately unable to attend her graduation ceremony. However all our staff and patients came together to have our own graduation ceremony and celebrate her achievements (complete with speeches, a diploma, bubbly and our AC playing the trumpet!)

Today is #NursingSupportWorkersDay and at @NottsHealthcare we’re saying thank you to all the wonderful support staff on our ward for all they do ♥️

This week was anti-bullying week, we’ve been chatting about how bullying can affect mental health and staff and patients created this wonderful display board for @ABAonline’s #oddsockday
