The biggest patriots I ever knew were my Jewish German refugee grandparents.
They stayed deeply loyal and grateful to the British state for the whole of their lives. My grandmother even lost her German as she assimilated so well (she was 17 when she came here), and as her British born granddaughter it was my job to translate when we went to German speaking countries . The irony!
I’m not often glad that they are no longer around but this is one of those times.

Conservatives wanted the Auditor General to investigate how $300 million was wasted on PrescribeIT.
The Liberal answer?
Kill the cameras.
Kill the transcripts.
Kill the investigation.
Carney promised he wouldn’t use his majority to shut down investigations.
That promise lasted exactly one week.

If Trump opened America's doors to qualified Canadians (employed, have a professional background, no criminal record, money in the bank etc) there would be a line at the border 10 miles long. Folks are fed up with what the Liberals have done to Canada and want an exit path.

This is the image I see as most representative of the modern state of Israel. A brave soldier, on his way to his base, taking his free time to study Gemara. The combination of study and service, scholarship and security is what the new Jewish state is all about.

A month ago he was critically injured while fighting Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon.
Boaz immediately lost his left leg.
