Did you know that 1 in 11 children, or 9.1% of all children in Pennsylvania, will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18? Through Uplift's support groups and services, over 2,500 youth, plus their caregivers, gain access to a community of support in grief.

On February 22 and March 1, Uplift held in-person family nights for youth and caregivers to make their own paper lanterns. Participants wrote meaningful messages on the inner tubes, and Uplift's team lead a close-out circle with dimmed lights to enjoy the candles shining through.
