There’s no other city like Dubai and no other city I would rather live in.
Every time I see somebody talking smack about it or lying about the place I just feel terribly annoyed by the fact that at least one person who reads their lies, who would otherwise love to call the UAE their home, gets turned away from it by people who are envious of what it has to offer.

Pro-EU influencers in Europe spend a whole lot of time amping up how not terrible the UK and the EU are and how bad things are in the US, Russia, or Dubai (this really gets the clicks!), only to get debanked when they say the wrong thing and finally realize they don’t actually have any of the so-called freedoms Von der Leyen likes to brag about. Sad.

The municipality in Dubai has set up an initiative called Ihsan—smart feeding stations for cats that were abandoned by some expats who left them like cowards. I’m proud to live in a city that takes care of its cats. We love our cats.

They think black gold, millionaire, billionaire & all the other content they consume on social media

Morbidly obese individuals like @ShaykhSulaiman and @KimDotcom screaming that Dubai is “starving” and “running out of food” is peak irony. The only place running low on calories around here is whatever buffet line they’re currently devastating. If they actually lived in Dubai instead of doom-posting from afar, the supermarkets would empty faster from their grocery runs than from any Strait of Hormuz drama. Maybe check your own fridge before declaring famine. It probably needs emergency resupply more than Dubai does.
