A positive learning environment makes a huge difference to a student’s capacity to learn. A major factor is when Teachers adopt a growth-mindset; believing that ALL students have the capacity to improve their minds.

Today is the last day for Primary Teachers learning about STEAM instruction from Anne Tweed. The focus for today has been on the E in CUE: Environment.

Dr Shannon Rupert visited us today. She is director of @MDRSupdates in Utah. The Mars Desert Research Station is an analog of a habitat on Mars. The landscape, geology and structure all emulate what it would be like to be working from a research base on the Red Planet.
