1 month ago, I paid a UGC agency to run 1,200 posts/month on TikTok and Instagram, all through real creators. Cost: €15k → ~€12.50 per video. It took time to kick in, but some videos crossed 150,000 views on Instagram. Next step: bring the process in-house to double down on what works. Proof that UGC works, even in B2B.

@code_luk @_mattwelter trying to understand the word "chaotic" in this context lol. I thought he speaks rather calmly.

this is so funny bc you talk in such a chaotic way lol. and i'm guessing you're a native speaker. it's funny to me bc i have this impostor syndrome thing where every time i record videos i'm scared someone will judge how i talk. and you just... say it. all chaotic. still sounds more natural tho bc your grammar is way better, i mess up sometimes. but yeah it's funny and honestly i'd rather watch this than something all cleaned up and flat. it just sounds like a real video from a real person btw wish you luck

Turns out Elon is right again. The shittiest layer in AI is the model layer. The real money in AI is in compute, energy, and applications. Elon has all 3. Without Chinese open weight models, OpenAI and anthropic would have been happy oligopolies and made trillions. Now, they hired the best talents, burned billions and built the newest model, only to have Chinese free models wiping out all your margins. Every other layer is making money except for you, even though you invented the whole thing. That must feel shitty as hell.

Anthropic is speed-running the loss of user goodwill. After the government situation - one they weren’t exactly blameless in - users were left with almost no proactive communication. Paying customers had to piece together updates from rumors, publications, and scattered replies on X. Then the model return announcement finally came, but it was vague and confusing. “Coding and cybersecurity tasks will revert to Opus” - what does that actually mean in practice? Is this a full return, a limited chatbot release, or something else? The clearest explanations are coming from individual team members replying to users, not from one official, easy-to-understand source. And now Fable is about to release with strict limits again. Seven days of access, then pay-per-use. For Max-tier subscribers, that feels like yet another moment where Anthropic could have shown goodwill - and chose not to. I used to default to Claude. I genuinely couldn’t imagine switching. But when models become close enough in intelligence, people will choose the company that makes them feel respected, informed, and valued. Right now, OpenAI is somehow looking like the more user-friendly option. They look like the AI hero's right now. Anthropic still has time to turn this around, but this feels cultural. They will need some changes top-down. The product may be excellent, but the communication and user trust is eroding.

I don’t understand Anthropic here. Reports make it sound like they’re doing great financially, but bringing Fable 5 back for subscriptions only for a very short window, including it for only up to 50% of weekly usage limits, then pushing it into usage credits feels like aggressive monetization under pressure after this huge upheaval. We were originally going to get 100% usage from June 9th to June 23rd for 15 days. And why make the situation even worse right after a customer trust crisis especially when some sessions will route back to Opus 4.8 anyway? Maybe there’s more to it, but from the outside it just makes this whole thing worse. This is no hate against Anthropic I'm just trying to understand executive level decisions here. Am I the only one confused by the decision making here?

Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow. After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding and debugging will fall back to Opus 4.8. We’ll continue to refine these classifiers over the coming weeks to reduce false positives and better distinguish genuine misuse from legitimate requests. We’ve also begun drafting a consensus framework—with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other Glasswing partners—for assessing the severity of AI jailbreaks and how AI developers should respond to them. We invite other industry partners and model providers to join us in this effort. Finally, we’re scaling up our collaboration with the US government on model testing and safeguards. This will include pre-release access to models and safeguards for evaluation, information sharing on jailbreaks and misuse, and dedicated resources for joint research. Thank you to our users for your patience, and to our partners across the government, industry, and the research community who worked alongside us to make Fable 5 available again. @kimmonismus The fact that they wouldn’t have this ready to go at the start of the workday is kind of wild. Especially for US time.

Will Anthropic offer Fable with limited time subscription? I don’t know how they will play this because sonnet was a letdown, and opus is hardly getting people by. Will they truly make fable a limited time subscription like before and then charge for api usage? Will be interesting to see how this goes.
