Workforce Solutions offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of Independence Day. Regular business hours resume Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

Students participated in a team-building activity where they were asked to show teamwork by working together to complete a tower made of straws, paper clips, and other materials within 10 minutes to experience being involved in a group decision-making process.

Workforce Wednesday at Audie Murphy Middle School: Yesterday the Workforce Outreach Specialist team conducted 2 Team Building Workshops for the students of Audie Murphy Middle School.

This week our Student HireAbility Navigators had the pleasure of co-presenting twice with TWS-VRS counselors at the Region One Special Education Institute. We had great sessions, lots of questions were asked, and overall great collaboration with educators from our service area.

Attendees are provided grant funding information/resources, the identification of on-line services/solutions to upskill existing workforce, and WFS service offerings which meet the needs of employers.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Lunch & Learn Series: Solutions for a Changing Economy. These meetings intend to engage and strengthen collaboration with service area economic development corporations and chambers of commerce to support industry sector needs.

Continuing with our Workforce Wednesdays at Audie Murphy Middle School! Our Workforce Outreach Specialists conducted 2 interview skills sessions to 8th-grade students. Students were able to learn interview tips and apply skills learned in a mock interview activity.
