Tonight, Gov. Evers blamed the Republican legislature for problems he and his administration have caused. Families can barely afford basic necessities as they feel the weight of his 400-year property tax increase. Our $2.4 billion surplus should be returned to the taxpayers.

Today, Republicans authored and passed Assembly Bill 840 to regulate data centers coming to Wisconsin by ensuring they are held accountable while simultaneously protecting consumers. It’s important we approach data centers responsibly to protect affordability for taxpayers.

Today, the State Assembly voted to exempt cash tips from income tax! Starting in tax year 2025, up to $25,000 of income received from cash tips is exempt from taxation. This is another step toward helping Wisconsinites keep more of their hard-earned money!

Wisconsin taxpayers shouldn’t fund salaries for judges suspended over criminal misconduct—plus the cost of a reserve judge. Proud to support AB 380 today to suspend pay for judges suspended for misconduct.

Comparing Jill with a lame duck Governor is not a great look. DPI has failed to report over 200 sexual misconduct/ grooming cases. If her department is unwilling to disclose this information publicly, then she owes it to Wisconsin families to actually show up and answer why.
