And if this were meant to portray Jesus Christ, you’d expect the defining markers— crown of thorns, crucifixion imagery, stigmata. None of that is here. Even the act of healing isn’t uniquely Christ-like in art— it’s a broader symbol of leadership, intervention, or restoration in times of crisis. Political figures have long been depicted in elevated, almost mythic ways using this same visual language. At the end of the day, this is just political imagery using a familiar, almost sacred visual style to frame a leader as a symbol of strength and restoration. You can like it or not— but calling it a literal depiction of Jesus Christ is a stretch.
