CDC is tightening official guidance for American cruise passengers. It will now be MANDATORY for cruise passengers to cough into their elbows for ANY cough when at work or at school.* No exceptions. *clearing throat ok

@kushibo @DrEricDing @j_g_allen Trump hasn’t done anything wrong this virus. He was said exactly what WHO has been saying: - Virus we know a lot about - it is not covid, much lower R0 - Americans have very low chance of getting it today and shouldn’t panic - lots of contact tracing is in place and monitoring.

Wow, if true— it means Trump’s CDC is wrong/lying about “prolonged close contact” needed for hantavirus transmission. The cruise ship 🛳️ doctor tells @j_g_allen that 3 positive ship cases did not have any close contact — only shared spaces—this implies AIRBORNE TRANSMISSION.

@sera7_sera @DrEricDing @j_g_allen They all ate the same buffet every day. We all know this. I’m ashamed of Ding to now call it airborne, when it easily could be a contaminated buffet utensils and touching mouth and eyes. He knows better and should delete.

@DrEricDing @j_g_allen I’m shocked. Guy from France headed home with symptoms that just began. They couldn’t of all been sharing the same room.

@kushibo @DrEricDing @j_g_allen And Ding knows better than to call it airborne. Easily could have been a contaminated surface like Buffett food and they touched their mouth. Not enough data to call it airborne like Ding did. Hence why the experts aren’t at this time

@kushibo @DrEricDing @j_g_allen CDC IS working with WHO. But WHO is the direct workers on board. Back to my point: why isn’t Ding calling out WHO? They are sharing this message with all countries and have the data. WHO also told Trump that Covid wasn’t airborne until July 2020. Trump was given bad facts.

@kushibo @DrEricDing @j_g_allen We know that. But CDC should be getting their messaging from WHO who is on the ship and doing the testing. And the CDC is repeating exactly what WHO is saying. It’s wild Dings obsession with attacking Trump and the CDC. All that verbiage is from WHO.

What if I told you the Flu Vaccine causes Flu Season? “You have over a 300% risk of getting other infections from the ‘Flu Shot’. They also attack your own nerves (Guillain–Barré Syndrome)…leaving you paralyzed and unable to breathe…”

@DrJesseMorse Your math isn’t mathing. 30% of people that get Covid get long covid? Yet some claim we get 100k new cases a day. And at one point it was hundreds of thousands each day. Everyone would have long covid. Please recalculate. Your math doesn’t math.

🚨You thought issues with COVID and COVID Spike Protein are over? Think again. Everyone has been exposed to COVID or chose to get a COVID vaccine is NOT back to pre-COVID levels. Especially internally. Buckle up. Absorb as much as can. 🧵

@TsaiMeLemoni Yes, and they didn’t acknowledge it was airborne until July 2020 Yet everyone blamed Trump and said he needs to listen to the experts. Trump was never wrong in saying a non-airborne will go away with warm weather and washing your hands and don’t touch your face. He got bad data

@DanielleLangWa Everyone blamed Trump for Covid when it’s a GLOBAL pandemic that didn’t start in USA. And WHO was telling everyone it wasn’t airborne until July 2020. Trump thinking it would be over with warm weather is correct.. if it was indeed not airborne like the experts told him.

The World Health Organization has repeatedly demonstrated a serious learning disability. Applauding this baby step of theirs is gracious, but it’s also telling. We have experts that say Andes is transmissible for a day or more before symptoms start, and yet… we’re just grateful that the WHO finally stopped telling people that surgical masks were sufficient protection. 🤯
Yaneer Bar-Yam@yaneerbaryam

It is encouraging to see WHO update its Andes hantavirus guidance on May 8 to recommend respirators rather than medical masks for symptomatic individuals associated with the outbreak. Recognition of airborne transmission risk and appropriate respiratory protection are important components of effective outbreak response. who.int/emergencies/di…

#hantavirus ⚠️ Request to reporters: Can someone ask CDC how the U.S. passengers will get back to their homes after their stop at the National Quarantine Unit at the University of Nebraska Medical Center? I’m also interested in learning what CDC’s rationale might be behind whatever decision is made. Thanks in advance. @MikeStobbe

@lsthart False. Covid was the bat virus. They are not claiming human to human doesn’t happen calling it such. They wouldn’t even write an article about the outbreak on a boat if it wasn’t human to human

Daily Mail dubs the 40% fatality airborne hantavirus the “Rat Virus Panic Hits Texas” like it’s a silly rodent problem. The replies spiral into pure delusions: Ship HVAC systems must be aerosolizing decade old rat droppings. Someone says we already been through this already except with monkeys. Another is offended the virus was described as it “HIT TEXAS” because that sounds too much like a hurricane which is much worse scenario in their opinion. Someone believes the passengers are fine because apparently everyone that was alive in 1993 when they first discovered this are still kicking and alive. Louisiana nutria rat eaters are completely unbothered. Toilet paper preppers gearing up, and zinc supplement soldiers ready to breathe through shredded lungs. The stupidity must be airborne too. 💀

@chaitrovert It’s a way of explaining that you don’t have to be worried at the grocery store. At a wedding, cruise ship, birthday party, then yes. This strain of virus had outbreak in 2018 at a birthday party and now this year from a cruise. But it doesn’t rapidly spread at grocery stores

@DrNeilStone Terrible analogy. Flu vaccine suppose to prevent infection and reduce symptoms if obtained. Seatbelt doesn’t prevent accidents. It only reduce symptoms of accident.
