most people are struggling to be eligible for X's revenue sharing program and i'll tell you how to achieve it with a 6-step action plan X started paying really well but hitting 5M impressions in the last 3 months is really tricky and requires luck if you don't have a plan. as of this week, i am finally eligible! i started my X journey in june with 200 followers and i was around 2k followers until 3 weeks ago 🤯in 3 weeks, i got 4000 more followers and 4M impressions by following this exact playbook: firstly, i have started following and applying @KettlebellDan's daily x tips here is the 6-step action plan: 1) niche down i have 14 years of software engineering experience and i have recently quitted my job to start indie hacking. i initially thought i took a huge risk by leaving loads of money on the table so i could just share my journey. but there are loads of people already doing this, it's really hard to stand out. so i had to niche down even further. cyber security has always been my passion, and there is a big gap in the current era where vibe coders are just vibing. so 3 weeks ago i decided to focus on creating security related content to help people out. 2) be consistent when you consistently talk about a specific subject, you start positioning yourself as an authority and people start paying more attention and respecting you more new X algo also loves this because it's very easy for it to map your posts to a specific target. 3) provide value put yourself into others shoes when you write that post. is there any value? would they stop scrolling and spend more than 10 seconds on your post? if you check my profile and last 20 posts, you'll see exactly this. all the posts provide insane value. so people engage with that. 4) pin posts we all used to have one pinned post for months in our profiles. but recent algo change started giving your posts additional boost if you pint them. use this once a day. 5) post only once a day (occasionally twice) new x algo started penalising posting more. your first post gets 100% reach, second one gets 0.7x multiplier, third one 0.5 and it goes like this @nikitabier made a good point by saying "how can we show all of your posts to everyone? they see limited amount of content each day" 6) hook your first sentence is everything. if you don't give people fomo with that sentence, they already scrolled away. you only have 1-2 seconds to hook them. bonus: creata a product around your niche, and you have your first customers already. i made my internal security tool public and put a stripe page. results? i made $1250 in the first 72 hours by just posting once about it on X. literally no other marketing. it's crazy. if you have read so far, that means you are really into it, well done. it's already first step. how much do you think X will pay me for 7M impressions? (first payment includes your all impressions, not only last 3 months, and i have 7M since june)
