@UgWrites I love this. The one I did last year was deleted my WhatsApp and uninstalled my social media apps for almost a month. That was to focus on writing though. Would be doing it again soon. It’s very healthy.

Did for straight 4months, my mind detoxed. Everything about me went back to default. My other phone had just contacts of family, no apps at all & that was it. Straight 4 months, it was just me, my laptop for studying, & my books. The only fun thing I did was take walks. Slept 10pm, woke up 5am daily and repeat. Discipline at its core. Hard!! But going back to it soon. Maybe for a year.

No social media apps, no news channel, main whatsApp lines deactivated. Activated a new WhatsApp - family emergencies & I told them if it is actually an emergency, they should call 911. I still do a 9-5 & I have academic demands - so yes, only browsing PubMed and outlook.
