One change we made for Sonic Summit this time was inviting speakers from outside of Sonic
In Vienna, the focus was 100% Sonic.

My first experience with Spawn 👨🔬 Have been playing around with spawn this week to see what i can create. Spawn is an AI agent built ontop of web3 and sonic chain. Its trained on context data from sonic and thus will let you "spawn" apps ontop of blockchain data. I wanted to create my own token launcher app that lets me launch meme coins, like fatfinger, just to start off with something simple. First thoughts on spawn: The UI is nice and intuitive, it asks an initial question on what you want to create then it asks additional follow up questions, like: "What key information is most important to display...?" "Should the user be able to interact with the protocols directly?" "Where should the data be retrieved from?" etc. After that spawn will generate an mvp of the app that you wanted to create, aswell as giving it a fitting name. This process takes a while. It starts creating the UI and deploying the contracts. When this process is ongoing its easy to get rate limited by the gemini API for using too many tokens. Now to be honest a user cant expect to get a finished product from just a few prompts. Its gonna take a lot of work to actually deploy a useable product with an AI agent. And on top of that the contracts have to be tested and verified so that they are not exploitable. But you can expect to get a UI with a few simple interactable contracts that work. Now for the result... I wasn’t really able to create anything meaningful yet. The token launcher idea didn’t quite materialize beyond some basic UI and half-working contracts. A lot of the process is still rough, and I hit limits with prompts, rate caps, and project saving. That said, I don’t see this as a failure, it’s just early days for Spawn (and for me experimenting with it). The potential is there, but it’ll take a few tries and probably smaller test projects before anything “real” comes out of it. Its an early access after all. I’ll keep tinkering and sharing what I find 👨🔬✨ Extra notes: - Cant save projects yet (or atleast i wasnt able to) - Still in its early phases. - You have to give it good prompts or it will go crazy - I wasn't able to spawn an app after multiple unsuccessful attempts, i think i was asking it for too much in the start. Like "create a complete dashboard for all sonic gems oportunities", which obviously wont work after just a few prompts 😂

A frequent, and fair, criticism of my work is; "he abandons everything he builds", so why should @flyingtulip_ be different? In 2020-2021 I was obsessed with decentralization and immutability, the only true roadmap for that was Satoshi. The only way to let a protocol truly decentralize is for the founder to not be the visionary and to walk away. I achieved this by putting myself in a position I could walk away. No token allocation for myself. No money raised for the project. No built in fees or benefit for myself. No licenses, all given away for free.
With FT, I am raising, I have founder and team tokens, they are vested behind buybacks. I am not optimizing for decentralization, I am optimizing for building a killer product.
So many new unique crypto projects, all under one umbrella. What I previously built was entirely without personal incentives, imagine what I can do incentivized.
