But He is formless for the jnani, that is, for him who looks on the world as a mere dream. The bhakta feels that he is one entity and the world another. Therefore God, reveals Himself to him as a Person. But the jnani — the Vedantist, for instance — always reasons, applying the process of 'Not this, not this'. Through this discrimination he realizes, by his inner perception, that the ego and the universe are both illusory, like a dream. Then the jnani realizes Brahman in his own consciousness. जगत प्रकास्य प्रकासक रामू
संसार में स्वयं का कोई प्रकाश नहीं है। इसकी प्रतीति और सत्ता पूर्णतः श्रीरघुनाथ जी से उधार ली गई है, जो स्वयं मायाधीश, ज्ञानधाम और गुणधाम हैं।
बालकाण्ड, दोहा ११६–११७ शिव-पार्वती संवाद के इस अत्यन्त गूढ़ प्रसंग में महादेव माता पार्वती के संशय का निवारण करते हुए क्रमिक तर्क प्रस्तुत करते हैं:
बिषय करन सुर जीव समेता।
सकल एक तें एक सचेता॥
सब कर परम प्रकासक जोई।
राम अनादि अवधपति सोई॥
जगत प्रकास्य प्रकासक रामू।
मायाधीस ग्यान गुन धामू॥
जासु सत्यता तें जड़ माया।
भास सत्य इव मोह सहाया॥
यहाँ चेतना का सोपान वर्णित है। विषयों का प्रकाश इन्द्रियों से, इन्द्रियों का उनके अधिष्ठातृ देवताओं से, देवताओं का जीव से और इन सबका प्रकाश्य अनादि अवधपति श्रीराम से होता है।
परिणति यह है कि सम्पूर्ण जगत् 'प्रकाश्य' (प्रकाशित होने वाला) है और केवल राम ही 'प्रकाशक' हैं। इसके उपरान्त आने वाले 'रजत-सीप' और 'मृगतृष्णा' के उदाहरण वेदान्त के उन शास्त्रीय सिद्धान्तों की पुष्टि करते हैं कि कैसे एक जड़ माया चेतन के प्रकाश से सत्य जैसी प्रतीत होती है।
इससे पूर्व दोहा ११६ में गोस्वामी जी ने प्रभु के स्वरूप को स्पष्ट किया है:
राम सच्चिदानंद दिनेसा।
नहिं तहँ मोह निसा लवलेसा॥
सहज प्रकासरूप भगवाना।
नहिं तहँ पुनि बिग्यान बिहाना॥
श्रीराम सच्चिदानन्द सूर्य हैं, जहाँ मोह रूपी रात्रि का लेश भी नहीं है। वे 'सहज प्रकाशरूप' हैं, अर्थात् उनका प्रकाश आगन्तुक नहीं, अपितु स्वाभाविक है। वहाँ विज्ञान का 'भोर' (बिहाना) नहीं होता, क्योंकि जहाँ अन्धकार ही न हो, वहाँ सूर्योदय की प्रतीक्षा कैसी? वे नित्य प्रकाशित हैं।
सप्तकाण्डों में प्रकाश का सूत्र
बालकाण्ड: मंगलाचरण और नाम-महिमा
मानस के प्रारम्भ में ही गुरु वन्दना में कहा गया है कि गुरु के वचन 'महामोह' रूपी अन्धकार पुंज को नष्ट करने के लिए सूर्य की किरणों के समूह हैं।
दोहा २१ में 'नाम-प्रकाश' का महामन्त्र मिलता है:
राम नाम मनि दीप धरु जीह देहरी द्वार।
तुलसी भीतर बाहिरौ जौ चाहसि उजियार॥
यहाँ 'मणि-दीप' शब्द महत्त्वपूर्ण है। जिस प्रकार मणि को तेल या बाती की आवश्यकता नहीं होती, वैसे ही राम-नाम स्वतः सिद्ध प्रकाश है जो अन्तःकरण और बाह्य जगत् दोनों को आलोकित करता है।
अरण्यकाण्ड की स्तुतियों में श्रीराम को 'मोह-विपिन-दहन-कृशानु' (मोह रूपी वन को जलाने वाली अग्नि) और 'सन्त-सरोरुह-कानन-भानु' (सन्तों के कमल वन को खिलाने वाला सूर्य) कहा गया है।
सुन्दरकाण्ड में प्रकाश और अन्धकार का द्वन्द्व प्रखर है। सीता जी रावण को 'खद्योत' (जुगनू) और श्रीराम को 'भानु' (सूर्य) के समान बताती हैं। राक्षसों को 'निसिचर' (रात्रि में विचरने वाले) कहकर उनके तामस स्वरूप को रेखांकित किया गया है।
उत्तरकाण्ड: ज्ञान-दीपक और चरम अनुभूति
काकभुशुण्डि-गरुड़ संवाद में तुलसीदास 'ज्ञान-दीपक' का विस्तृत रूपक बाँधते हैं। विवेक की बटलोई, वैराग्य का तेल और 'सोऽहमस्मि' की लौ मिलकर उस 'आतम अनुभव सुख' का प्रकाश उत्पन्न करती है, जिससे भव-मूलक भेद-भ्रम समूल नष्ट हो जाता है।
यहाँ प्रकाश बाह्य सत्ता से अन्तर्यामी चेतना में रूपान्तरित हो जाता है। जगत् की सत्ता: तुलसीदास का वैशिष्ट्य तुलसीदास का मत अद्वैत और विशिष्टाद्वैत के मध्य एक समन्वयकारी सेतु है।
प्रकाश्य-प्रकासक सिद्धान्त के अनुसार परतन्त्र सत्ता: जगत् तब तक सत्य है जब तक वह प्रकाशित है; और तब भ्रामक है जब वह स्वयं को स्वतन्त्र (स्वप्रकाश) मानता है।
सत्य-इव: जासु सत्यता तें जड़ माया, भास सत्य इव। यहाँ 'इव' शब्द निर्णायक है। संसार न तो पूर्णतः सत्य है, न ही निरा असत्य। यह 'सत्य-सदृश' है क्योंकि इसमें ब्रह्म की सत्यता का प्रतिबिम्ब है।
तुलसीदास के लिए संसार श्रीराम की 'लीला' है। यह 'शक्ति-परिणामवाद' के निकट है, जहाँ माया प्रभु की अपनी शक्ति (सीता) है। अतः यह जगत् 'सीयराममय' है और वन्दनीय है।
ज्ञान और कृपा का अभेद मानस में प्रकाश केवल 'ज्ञान' नहीं है, और न ही केवल 'कृपा'। यहाँ प्रकाश वह तत्त्व है जिसमें ज्ञान और कृपा एकाकार हो जाते हैं।
जासु कृपाँ अस भ्रम मिटि जाई, वही श्रीराम जो प्रकाशक हैं, अपनी कृपा से अज्ञान के अन्धकार को हर लेते हैं। भक्ति वह 'चिन्तामणि' है जो स्वयं प्रकाशमान है और जिसके हृदय में बसते ही अविद्या का अन्धकार स्वतः विलीन हो जाता है।

तुलसीदास जी कहते हैं कि प्रेम और विश्वास के साथ राम नाम का जप करो। यदि तुम सजग होकर राम नाम का स्मरण करते हो, तो इस कलयुग रूपी बगीचे में तुम्हारे जन्म-जन्मांतर के कर्म और तुम्हारा जीवन 'कल्पवृक्ष' (इच्छा पूरी करने वाला वृक्ष) के समान फलदायी हो जाएगा।

True Devotion & discussions, questions and silence.
Note- Reminder
There are no questions for the truest of the devotees, all questions get answers within themselves. However lack of devotion will lead to questions, blabbering and endless discussions. Those who are worried about left and right hand, who are worried about colour of flowers, about lamps, about incense, or who are too much worried about pronunciation are left with these things only. They never enter the next stage. The devotee remains silent because loudness is opposite to devotion. Bhajana and Bhojan are observed with silence for a reason.
When you love God, then nothing else is required. When you love yourself and do prayers with kamna then every prapanca in the books is essential. These prapanca are for tāntrika or for ritualistic observations in kāmya prayoga (desire full approach). Those who observe Sadhna with kamna need to follow each step with prapanca. Mistakes leads to mental disorders immediately. Ṃoorthi are for kāmya prayoga or sometimes for contemplation because once you have God, all ṃoorthi are placed in your heart lotus. The ḍhyān mantras before every prayer are there for a reason. This is for creating the ṃoorthi in heart lotus. For a devotee, the body is the temple where the ḍevthas reside in the heart.
Loud bhajana, questions and discussions are not part of devotion. You question when you have lack of faith. It is not the Pooja that a devotee observes, a true devotee observes sevā. For him God is someone very close, not a far flung high minded entity sitting somewhere in the sky.
Unless you love God, unless you have true devotion you will keep hanging with questions and cacophonies of discussions. Once the desires end and devotion rises, all questions cease to exist. Then all bhajana become silent, all prapanca and paraphernalia cease to exist outside.
Anecdote- Devi does not like prapanca at all. Once a tāntrika who was worshipping Sri Pitambaraye came to meet. He lost consciousness and went to sleep. Devi did not like him though according to him he was a tāntrika devote to devī only. Even Datiya maharaja was totally against tāntrika Pooja. He called for tāntrika Pooja only during Indo China war because that was a kāmya prayoga.
So if you are a true devotee stop blabbering, stop questioning, be silent. Silence is gold, there is no spiritual discussion because spirituality has nothing to discuss about. Discussions and questions are meant only for those who have lack of faith.
The objects are are means to an end (god), don't live in the foolishness that means are God.

so the vedic astrologer i got the reading from was @VEDANJANAM.
he rectified my birth time by 5 minutes after delineating that my dad had to get his colon replaced during a specific time period. never have i ever had an astrologer say something that specific before.
the rest of the reading was great, a segment about the past (all correct btw), a segment about the future, and helpful tips for planetary remediation. i have a newfound level of respect for him, i highly recommend booking a reading!
