THE BIG NEWS On this blessed Friday of Ramadan, I'm thrilled to share that I have accepted an offer to become a Lecturer of Science and Religion at the School Of Divinity (@uoedivinity), New College, University Of Edinburgh (@EdinburghUni). I aim to commence my new role in September. Through the grace of God, the supportive environment at the University, and the wonderful colleagues who have supported me thus far and those I will be joining, I aspire to completely transform the field of Islam and Science through this position worldwide in the next few decades, insha'Allah. I finished this book in one day because it was so good. It masterfully explains how Ghazali blends different types of knowledge – empirical, logical, and mystical – into a coherent whole. Outstanding scholarship. A must-read! I will definitely integrate this into my courses.
