From grassroots voices to regional policy: the renewed MoU between the ICGLR and @cocafemgl reinforces joint action on research, advocacy, and implementation of the WPS agenda across all 12 Member States. 🌍

The #ICGLR and @cocafemgl renew their partnership with the signing of an MoU in Nairobi—strengthening collaboration to advance Women, Peace & Security across the region. 🤝

By validating the RAP in Nairobi, ICGLR MS and partners are strengthening regional action to prevent #GBV, support survivors, and promote women’s participation in peacebuilding. This means stronger protection, better support systems, and more inclusive pathways to lasting peace.

The ICGLR CS convenes experts, governments and partners in Nairobi for the GB2 Report Validation Workshop (16–18 March 2026). The workshop also features the ceremonial launch of RAP II on #WPS , reinforcing regional efforts to advance the Women, Peace and Security agenda. #GIZ
