In all honesty. I wish Adam Lakeland all the best. Done a good job this season at Halifax but it’s just frustrating he’s dropped down a league. Massive gamble from his perspective too. Big pressure to get out of a difficult league. I think DB needs to release a statement about what’s going to happen next at the club. The loyal fans who’ve travelled home and away deserve that level of transparency. The Next appointment is going to be crucial because we are one bad appointment away from a relegation scrap next season.

🏟️ CLUB STATEMENT | It's with disappointment that we confirm, Manager Adam Lakeland has decided to leave FC Halifax Town and take up the role of First Team Manager at Morecambe FC. We'd like to put on record our thanks to Adam for his hard work & professionalism this season in guiding us to an 8th place finish, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. We wish Adam and his family every success for the future. The Club will commence its search for a new Manager to ensure a swift but positive appointment.
