There’s no better high than creating something that perfectly encapsulates a feeling. Old or new. Maybe even altered. That single moment when it all just clicks and you look at your art and think “this is it, this is what I’ve been trying to say”. That feeling is everything.

On that note, I’m going to paint now ✨

Being a creative is hard. Not the art itself, but the notion that no matter how good you think your creation is, art is undeniably subjective. Art is judgmental. Art resonates randomly. While people want to say that all art is amazing, the truth of it is: they’re lying.
