@becauseberkeley My sr year apartment we had a futon we picked up on the sidewalk on durant and it had a peg to hold itself up that we just propped against the window. It was janky but we saved a few hundred bucks!

Strongly disagree. My place is furnished largely by street finds. I'm always upgrading to better stuff I find. Someone then gets the pieces I replace.
The last thing we need is more Ikea choking the landfill.

STOP LEAVING FURNITURE ON THE SIDEWALK! I beg of you. As soon as you do, a silent signal goes out the drug users and it becomes a meth/fent home. This is right next to a daycare center. I evicted them.
