@Tunazako I always reccomended the first two OVAs (The birth and demon bird sirene, they're both on YouTube) and then the original manga. but theres alot of other OVAs and manga spin offs/sequels too

@Tunazako I think just the fact alone that it's a classic makes it worth it to get into it especially if you're particularly interested in any of the tropes/genres it pioneered or the animanga it inspired.. once you get into it you won't be able to stop noticing it's influence on shows LOL
