@AndrewDignan @LingoUnbound With FREDDY’S they might have just assumed that Peacock sucks so much that the target audience wouldn’t know it was day and date streaming.

@bentclouds @LingoUnbound Is it even principled though? Not uncommon for AMC to bump a film from its larger theaters after 2-3 weeks if it’s underperforming to make space for new films. Or to book a FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’s which does day and date on SVOD? Their only “principle” is “we don’t like Netflix.”

I really wish THE KILLER was playing at a theater that I didn’t hate.

@LingoUnbound I get the principled stand AMC made that they needed a theatrical window, it just bums me out that I will have to enjoy the movie at home rather than in a loud theater.

I love all these guys to death, but only one of them topped Arthur Penn’s NIGHT MOVES.

I’m so proud of the movie and my heart breaks for all the talented people that made it happen only to see their art erased in favor of accounting. Wile E. will always be a part of me. Thanks @dgreenmachine for taking me along on this journey.
