Building on the #SkillImpactBond, the #SkillOutcomesFund will support training of 2 lakh youth over the next four years, with outcomes firmly at the core. Thankful to Union Skill Development Minister (MoS I/C) @jayantrld ji for the encouraging words in the Lok Sabha yesterday about AP’s first-of-a-kind skill census. We are using AI to capture skill levels and map the industry needs to the workforce. Our customized skilling program will then augment their skill sets and bring it on par with industry requirements.

In the Lok Sabha, responding to a question by Hon’ble MP Smt. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra @priyankagandhi regarding school access and dropout concerns in tribal areas, I shared the steps being taken to strengthen inclusion and retention through targeted interventions. Under Samagra Shiksha, support is being provided for strengthening school infrastructure, hostels and residential schooling facilities, including Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avasiy Vidyalayas and hostels under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan. Assistance is also provided through free uniforms, textbooks, transport allowance, and special training for out-of-school children along with enrolment and retention drives. UDISE+ data also reflects the trend in dropout rates across stages, and continued efforts are underway with States and UTs to improve access and participation for tribal students. #LokSabha #TribalEducation #SamagraShiksha #SchoolEducation #NEP2020
