Chief Awolowo was a democratic socialist in his political ideology, that is Awoism, more state ownership of assets with “social” initiatives funded by the State. The long term sustainability of those policy cannot be defined because he was truncated. Awo was modeling Yorubaland after Switzerland and Nigeria as a whole, it explained why the Swiss model of federal structure was his defacto reccommendations to address Nigeria’s multiethnicity with assymetric potentials and missions. But such a country from West Africa obviously was a threat to those who considered blacks as inferior. In Contrast: BATism is a Capitalistic Progressive Ideology. From his championing of PPP schemes, to broad tax reforms and creation of tax economy, loan culture and credit economy, BAT is no socialist! He will not give you anything for free! He is creating a progressive affluent environment that will lead to abundance only for those who can and are willing to do the work! His policies are definitely not congruent with people who are used to hand me down, relied on government funds and mining natural resources! It is a project that will effect in about 20 years, long after he is gone. The challenge is that like Awolowo, BAT is ahead of his time! Nigeria is still in 1800s! We have people still committed to Jihad and those with Lebensraum ideologies still parts and parcel of Nigeria. A capitalistic progressive ideology of ABUNDANCE will become an exploitative tool except… BAT can solve this by restructuring Nigeria into Ethnolinguistic blocks or a mixed Hybrid like they have in Italy, that is what will immortalize Baba. Awoism and Batism are both devoid of ethno-nationalism and conservatism in the center as both are focused on prosperity with the assumption that we are not threatened or that prosperity will cure. This is why the future of Yoruba political capital will be Think Yoruba First. A conservative progressive ideology that will balance Awoism and Batism. Fasten your seatbelt. The future of Nigeria hangs in balance, those who have spent billions in Jihadist money as part of their great vision and new world order and those who have built colonies in other states were not part of the calculations of great Awo and BAT it seems, but then maybe they are! @AKakanfo But nkrumah differs from zik and he is very celebrated worldwide. I bliv the issue is that pan africanism was a good idea that is no longer good. It was a tool of liberation that has fulfilled its purpose and should be rested as it is no longer good for todays challenges.

One of the most dangerous groups in Africa are the delusional pan Africanists with no respect for indigenous people and borders. Most of the self proclaimed Pan Africanists like Nkrumah and Azikwe were absolutely ethnic supremacists if we pay close attention to what they did to their countries. How many people knew that Nkrumah rigged the referendum elections that was organised to determine the future of western Togoland. Till now we have secessionist movement in Ewe part of Ghana because of this problem. 80 percent of the bondage of Southern Nigeria was caused by another megalomaniac pan Africanist called Azikwe. His ethnic supremacist ideology chased out Southern Cameroons and destroyed the liberation of ethnic minorities in the north and the south. In a multipolar world, we must stay away from this failed ideology.

Yes if our region becomes Sharia Republic, his community is the home of the oldest mosque in the South. He knows what he’s saying, and knows what he’s doing, but God forbid, they will fail. Oluwo is playing his role in the Jihad against our land, don’t be fooled.

When the time comes we will realize that we, the Nigerian citizens, are in fact the dullest among human races….especially the Yoruba. All talks and no action. What will it cost us to declare no election in Nigeria in 2027 unless we return to old regional system of governance youtu.be/XkFVrEBJIlo?si…

What happened in Pleateau is a testament that Nigeria has expired. We can continue to deceive ourselves but this entity call Nigeria is a farce, it is a contraption of death. It allowed future to be destroyed. If PBAT is truly committed to saving the carcass of a country he should RESRUCTURE Nigeria and return the country to its ethnolinguistic blocs. While terrorist continue genocide, those in charge of Yorubaland are using the excuse of the central Nigeria to be corrupt and steal. I have to ask if the average black man is really intelligent enough to govern itself? Why is it so hard to solve the problems with obvious solutions? From Fake Constitutiin to Fake Unity, who are we actually fooling? I wake up today to see Baba Tunji Disu sets up a 5 years plan to decentralized police? Seriously? It must be that we see ourselves as less human hence why we are treating each other this way. From animalistic neighboring cultures who thinks their lifeline is to employ colonial tactics to the previously advanced societies now embracing feudalism, to those lifeling feudalist who see othera as pawns, it all points to one thing, there is lack of true leadership and will. Lack of true statesman and will, from OBJ to Buhari since 1999, we simply had despots and usurpers. BAT is building institutions in a nation with feudalist, colonialist and terrorists, how will he not end up with a wasted effort? I pray for REAL help to assist us get out of this menace of a country.

Our administration will strengthen local government autonomy within the law and co-create development plans with communities through Community Development Councils, with transparent ward-level budgets and project sign-off. I will entrench transparency by practising open contracting and publishing all projects, costs, and milestones online; guiding key sectors with participatory budgeting; holding quarterly town halls in each senatorial district; enforcing service charters with response times; and recognising MDAs that meet targets. The government will improve our environment and urban spaces by upgrading drainage and flood control; organising waste management with community sanitation teams; making markets safer with water, toilets, and fire safety; and undertaking tree planting and erosion control across vulnerable areas. We will fund this by blocking leakages and automating revenue; prioritising high-impact, low-cost interventions; and blending state resources with development partners and private capital for productive infrastructure. In our first one hundred days my team will launch the Rapid Response Fund and Victims Support Desk; begin PHC revitalisation in sixteen model wards, one per LGA; open the Job and Skills Hubs and the MSME Growth Fund window; roll out pad banks and WASH upgrades in one hundred schools; and hold the first quarterly town halls in each senatorial district. This is my covenant with you, Kwarans: capacity over noise, grassroots over PR, service over self. Together, we will let competence lead and let Kwara rise. Ibrahim Elelu Ayoola March 30,2026.

My ambition, Kwarans, and the beautiful scripture of historical template—A Covenant of Service Ibrahim Elelu Ayoola — APC" Governorship Aspirant, Kwara State My ambition, Kwarans, and the beautiful scripture of historical template that has carried our people through seasons of struggle and renewal, compel me to offer myself for service as governor of Kwara State. I believe Kwara is not a stool to be rotated but a state to be governed; therefore I present a covenant of competence, care, and courage—measured by what improves your daily life. We will secure our communities by mapping risks ward by ward and running a live security dashboard for the state; training, equipping, insuring, and legally backing community vigilantes who work in sync with the police, NSCDC, and the military; establishing a Rapid Response Fund to keep patrols mobile and communication clear; lighting vulnerable corridors with solar streetlights, repairing access roads, and clearing known escape routes; and setting up a Victims Support Desk for medical care, trauma counselling, displacement support and recovery micro-grants, alongside a functional distress line and monthly public briefings with traditional rulers, women, and youth leaders. Our administration will create dignified work through three senatorial Job and Skills Hubs delivering digital, artisan, and agri-enterprise tracks tied to job placements; an MSME Growth Fund offering single-digit interest and equipment leasing with market linkages; expanded graduate internships in MDAs and partner firms; and an annual Kwara Innovation Fair to reward creativity and technology. I will strengthen education by recruiting and training teachers on merit with rural incentives; making schools safe and functional with fencing, water, toilets, and power; strengthening technical and vocational pathways; awarding bursaries and scholarships on need and merit; and sourcing school feeding from local farmers. The government will put primary healthcare first by revamping PHCs with staff, drugs, power, water, and basic diagnostics within thirty minutes of every community; prioritising maternal and child health; deploying ambulance tricycles for hard-to-reach wards; driving health-insurance enrolment for informal workers and vulnerable groups; and holding quarterly community feedback on service quality. Together we will boost agriculture and food security with timely inputs; clusters around storage and processing; farm-to-market roads and solar cold rooms in major markets; mobile extension agents; youth agri-entrepreneurs supported with land, mechanisation, and off-taker agreements; and micro-irrigation schemes to reduce climate risk. My team will deliver roads, water, and power by publishing a four-year infrastructure pipeline with costs and timelines and finishing abandoned projects; rehabilitating and reticulating rural water schemes where feasible with WASH facilities in schools and PHCs; lighting township roads; and partnering on mini-grids for productive-use clusters. We will place the girl-child and women at the centre of our renewal by keeping girls in school with free sanitary pad banks in all public secondary schools, safe toilets and water, scholarships for indigent girls, and transport support in remote wards; reducing teenage pregnancy and child marriage through community dialogues with parents and traditional leaders, a firm school re-entry policy for young mothers, and a confidential helpline with counselling; opening new pathways with Girls-in-STEM clubs, coding bootcamps, an annual science fair, and mentorship with women professionals; expanding economic power through a Women Enterprise Window under the MSME Fund, creche support for working mothers, and stronger response to gender-based violence including safe shelters and legal aid; and setting a clear target of thirty-five percent women in appointments and boards while publishing an annual Gender Scorecard. 1/2
