The claim that Israel squandered sympathy is bullshit. Antisemitism all over America & Europe spiked within days of the Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attack. Universities were getting taken over before Israel invaded Gaza. Posters of hostages were immediately torn down. All documented.

Reminder that under Obama’s Iran deal Iran would be on a pathway by 2031 to have nuclear-armed ICBMs, 10,000 ballistic missiles, a Chinese- and Russian-built military, a million attack drones, a fully operational terror network, and a trillion dollars to harden its economy.
Ben Rhodes@brhodes

Reminder that under Obama's Iran Deal the Iranians shipped 98 percent of their enriched uranium out of the country - without a pointless and devastating war.

@BasedMikeLee Sharon McMahon is a part of the Builders Movement, which is part of the same network as Mormon Women for Ethical Government trying to impose a social credit score. They have a strong UVU presence. MWEG recommends her book in their reading list. x.com/DataRepublican…

In the California gubernatorial race, thank God the Democrats were able to get their greasy sexual predator out of the way so they could elect their crazy-eyed mean girlboss who dumped a platter of hot mashed potatoes on her husband's head.

Japan is overwhelmingly Japanese. Japanese culture honors education. Also, their culture values social cohesion. They don't put up with violent thugs. America is full of different people and cultures. Many of these cultures actively hate America and what it stands for. 20% of Americans are proud of being uneducated, violent garbage, and many more Americans celebrate the music and culture of that subgroup.
Hitchslap@Hitchslap1

The United States has an average IQ of 99, whereas Japan has an average IQ of 106. What can best explain this discrepancy?

I’ve loathed Eric Swalwell ever since the early days of Russiagate because he just kept lying and lying, wrecking countless lives in the process. That said, what happened today is an object lesson in Democratic Party efficiency. The moment someone becomes a problem, they throw him under the bus in two milliseconds, then pull him back out just enough to keep a House vote. Absolutely clinical.

As a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Warrant Officer, I have spent decades cutting waste and demanding accountability in government programs. That is why I was stunned to discover the Federal Judicial Center (FJC), an agency most Americans have never heard of, yet one that costs taxpayers 35.6 million dollars a year. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) just called it the "USAID of Article III" in his April 9 thread. He is right. This D.C.-based bureaucracy trains federal judges, produces their reference manuals, and has become a prime vector for ideological influence. My new article lays it out in full: why the FJC is unnecessary, where it sits in the heart of the swamp, its recent left-leaning controversies, and why Congress should defund or eliminate it immediately. The rule of law should not come with a hidden training budget. Time to shut down another agency we never needed. @SenEricSchmitt @DataRepublican #FederalJudicialCenter #GovernmentWaste #DefundTheFJC

How ruthlessly effective is the Democrat machine? Eric Swalwell is asked to drop out of the race because a Republicans may actually win. He refuses. Party operatives tap into their pool of white liberal feminists and just like that, he's hit with not one...not two, but FOUR sexual assault accusations. Of course, none of the victims can remember any details, just that it happened. The exact Blasey-Ford and E. Jean Carrol playbook. Within an hour, the victim is being interviewed on @CNN. The email goes out. Almost immediately, the teacher's union is condemning him and Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries and every other Democrat on Twitter is calling for him to drop out of the race. Keep in mind, when Tara Reade accused Biden of forcibly sexually abusing her, they called her a liar and nobody called for him to drop out. This is all a coordinated attack because they've seen the internal polling that Steve Hilton may actually win this thing and they are sacrificing Swalwell because liberal idiots like him are a dime a dozen.

This is why we ignore world leaders who say "Israel has a right to defend itself, but not on Lebanese soil." This is an IDF strike on a Hezbollah rocket launcher, loaded and ready to fire. If we listened to European leaders, all we could do is duck.

Thread. It's worth noting that OPT appears nowhere in our immigration law. It was, like DACA, created by executive fiat. It's just one of the many unreal scams that permeate our immigration system and enormously privilege foreigners over our own people (e.g, no FICA tax).
Senator Eric Schmitt@SenEricSchmitt

Update in my fight to dismantle the broken OPT system—ICE just got me the numbers: In Missouri alone there are 4,430 OPT visas—many working in jobs that are out-of-scope, stealing opportunities from young Missourians. Here are some of the worst examples.🧵

Gee, I wonder where the idea that "Catholics don't read the bible" came from?
Pope Leo XIV@Pontifex

God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

Nobody is asking people to translate "私は猫が大好きです" into "I regarding cat really like". We're asking translators not to change the original meaning of the source content. We're asking translators not to add "skibidi rizz toilet" or to change "Male pride is such a pain" into "Fragile masculinity at it again." We're asking translators to keep the content as authentic to the original intent as possible. You can clean up direct literal translations to be more palatable to the English tongue without changing the meaning of what's being written or spoken. I really don't understand what's so hard about this.
Kelly Quinn Chiu 🧭@kellyqute

Some people on this website suddenly seem to be clamoring for hyper-literal translations and I am here tell you that is not good translation. It just isn't.

Don’t act like you didn’t fucking know this, Adam… You knew… You knew when the rumors first slithered through the marble corridors of the House… You knew when the staffers exchanged those sidelong glances and the whispers carried the stench of cover-up. You knew because you are not some wide-eyed naïf stumbling through the swamp… you are its apex predator, a creature whose entire pathology is built on calculated silence, selective outrage, and the exquisite art of plausible deniability. This is not ignorance, Schiff… This is the malignant narcissism of the political class: the same personality disorder that lets you weaponize “democracy” while shielding your own from the very predation you now pretend shocks you to your core. The woman’s story lands like a blade between the ribs…two sexual assaults while she was too intoxicated to fight back, the grotesque power imbalance of a congressman and a subordinate…and suddenly you’re “deeply distressed”? Spare me the theatrical recoil… That’s not moral awakening, that’s damage control dressed in the language of virtue. You’ve spent years marinating in the same fetid ecosystem where predators like Swalwell thrive because the tribe protects its own until the press finally forces the mask to slip. Your psychology is textbook, Adam: the high-functioning sociopath who can look the camera dead in the eye and feign outrage the moment the polls shift. You didn’t just “read the article.” You read the room, calculated the political necrosis, and cut the tumor loose before it metastasized onto your own pristine brand. This is the precise truth you cannot escape: you enabled it. You normalized it. You sat across committee tables, shared strategy sessions, broke bread with a man whose appetites were an open secret in the very circles you pretend to police. And now you want applause for the bare minimum of human decency? For throwing a fellow predator under the bus only after the Chronicle lit the fuse? Fuck that. The pathology here is institutional, and you are patient zero. A man who weaponized every institution against his enemies while insulating his allies from consequence doesn’t suddenly discover ethics on a Friday afternoon. You knew, Adam. You always knew. And the venom in your sudden withdrawal isn’t moral clarity…it’s the cold, reptilian calculus of self-preservation. The real Adam Schiff: the architect of selective blindness, the high priest of performative shock, the embodiment of a ruling class whose moral compass has been surgically removed and replaced with polling data. 💀⚖️
Adam Schiff@AdamSchiff

I have read the San Francisco Chronicle’s account and I am deeply distressed by its allegations. This woman was brave to come forward, and we should take her story seriously. I am withdrawing my endorsement immediately, and believe that he should withdraw from the race.
