@MrsCMFrancis yWhere to start. First, Head & Shoulders the Gold Standard. However psoriasis shampoos are made stronger. Head & Shoulder resolves most issues. It may not be a fit for everyone. H&S also contains pyrithione zinc, selenium and sulfides. Pyrithione zinc is the active ingredient.

@MrsCMFrancis I get pushy skin. It’s like grass often associated to air humidity and moisture and or water quality like hard water. So for my face and shaving comfort I use Albolene once or twice a week often before shaving a day before etc. Albolene is a great moisturizer.

I’m at the point where I simply want to cry about this. I’m using the toxic tar shampoo, taking expensive pro-biotics, drinking homemade bone broth on an empty stomach, putting hydrocortisone cream on it….and still it’s there. All the time. What am I supposed to do???

@MrsCMFrancis Shaving metals too cause issues. Now with Albolene much better. I also use Cetaphil Moisturizing Facial Cleanser, not the day I’m shaving. Albolene a day before shaving is nearly perfect. I try not to shave instead I use a small hair buzzer, for beards or shaving hair design.

@MrsCMFrancis There are many shampoos that are made for psoriasis. Selsun Blue is interesting because it also contains salicylic acid and vitamins etc.

@MrsCMFrancis Another issues could be a fungus, the doctor can test for that.

@MrsCMFrancis When I shampoo I use Head & Shoulders and Pantene Shampoo. I just recently added a filter to the shower because the water feels ineffective. My skin didn’t feel quenched nor hydrated.

@MrsCMFrancis I would say see a dermatologist, it could be just hard water and dry scalp or eczema. You may want to add a shower filter and a shower head with a filter. Hard water can cause skin issues. Head and Shoulders is moisturizing and Pantene Shsmpoo and Hair Conditioner.
