The allegation centers on a March 26 post on X in which Hassan quoted Kozo Okamoto — a member of the Japanese Red Army convicted for his role in a 1972 operation with PFLP at Ben Gurion Airport that killed 26 people — writing: “I gave my youth to the Palestinian cause. As long as there is oppression, resistance is not only a right, it is a duty.” Hassan later deleted the post. A complaint was filed by far-right National Rally lawmaker Matthias Renault.
