CAEP accreditation staff will be hosting a series of informal office hours during Spring 2026 to assist providers as they pursue accreditation. The next date for office hours is March 27th. There are no specific agendas for the office hours and participants are free to come and go as needed. The sessions are designed to help providers in the process of completing a self-study report, addendum, or a rejoinder, however, all CAEP providers are welcome to join Zoom links for all sessions: caepnet.zoom.us/my/staff

Dr. Matthew Bice has been selected as the new dean at the University of Tennessee at Martin College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences. Bice is the current provost and vice president for academic affairs at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. He previously held academic and administrative positions at the University of Nebraska Kearney. Bice replaces Cindy West, longtime dean of the college, who retired at the end of 2025. The South Dakota Department of Education has signed a new partnership agreement with CAEP. The state partnership agreement outlines the process providers use who are pursuing CAEP accreditation in their respective states. The agreement also allows department staff to participate in the CAEP accreditation process. The new agreements runs through February 2031.
