The official narrative reinforces the view that non-Malays did nothing other than exploit the Malays and support the British. Their economic contributions are downplayed. The official narrative starts roughly from the 14th century because Hindus played a prominent role in Malay society prior to that. The worst part of the official narrative: until a decade ago, it claimed the country became independent in 1957, completely ignoring the fact that the federation was established in 1963. There is also hardly any coverage of Sabah and Sarawak, so little that one would think Sabahans and Sarawakians are ghost people in official history. So Brother Anwar, if you want us all to support a Malaysian history written by Malaysians, can you at least ensure the history textbooks are not biased? That would be a good place to start. Another practical step you can take is to stop the destruction of Bujang Valley sites and other sites that show the Malays were not Muslims for millennia. You know what I mean.
