Pro bylo 709 z 894 členů Pirátů, kteří se zúčastnili internetového hlasování. Podporu návrhu tak vyjádřilo 79,3 procent hlasujících. Pirátští ministři Jan Lipavský a Michal Šalomoun podají demisi v úterý 1. října.

🇨🇿 The Czech Government approved the Pension reform. The proposal of Minister of Labour and Social Affairs @MJureka includes a gradual increase in the retirement age and a lower indexation of pensions. 👉The main opposition ANO movement disagrees with the proposed changes.

Naše vláda plní sliby. Schválili jsme návrh důchodové reformy, která zabrání zhroucení důchodového systému a zajistí důstojné důchody i pro dnešní mladou generaci. Zároveň obsahuje prorodinná opatření, jako je společný vyměřovací základ pro manžele s rozdílnými příjmy nebo fiktivní vyměřovací základ zvyšující důchody rodičům, kteří roky pečovali o malé děti. Reforma je také sociálně citlivá, protože počítá s předčasnými důchody pro ty, kdo začali pracovat v nízkém věku, nebo s předčasnými důchody pro zaměstnance v některých rizikových provozech. Udělali jsme všechno pro to, abychom se domluvili s opozicí, protože důchodová reforma není krok na jeden nebo dva roky, ale na desítky let. Hnutí ANO ale odmítá jakoukoliv odpovědnost a už vůbec nechce řešit problémy občanů České republiky. V roce 2016 důchodovou reformu zrušilo, na jednání o našem návrhu jeho zástupci nechodili, odmítli dokonce pozvání od prezidenta republiky, a žádné vlastní návrhy přitom nepředložili. Na budoucnosti mladé generace jim prostě nezáleží.
