Investigating this I have gained knowledge of an obscure international bank transfer quirk that could benefit others.
Since X posts get indexed, it is this:
“ERI” (Extended Remittance information) is prepended to certain extended metadata in international transfers involving ISO20022. “ERI” is also the Latin alphabet name of a recently sanctioned Russian corporation as per opensanctions.org/entities/NK-Vr…. This can cause “a problem” if your bank is unaware of the coincidence.

My own left-wing ideological priorities aside, this was easily the best story of the year. Every mainstream political, economic and media institution tried to embrace Trumpism and ram this narrative of right-wing cultural dominance down our throats and it backfired dramatically.

I bought an American recipe book once and was baffled and furious that the Apple Coffee Cake didn't have any coffee in it. I wanted that combo of flavours so badly I added instant coffee to the liquid ingredients and it was DELICIOUS. I must bake it again soon & share the recipe!
