This drive taught me a lot about focus in high-stress situations. The entire 6-hour drive, we were going pretty fast around hairpin turns in near-zero visibility with constant rainfall. All this with a very expensive right-hand drive car on the left side of the road. It’s important to expose yourself to these situations to help strengthen your nerves in low-stakes stressors like Tekken, cuz it works really well. I haven’t felt panic attacks playing Tekken in a long time thanks to doing stuff like this. This past Evo Japan was probably the calmest l’ve ever been for a major. Really neat stuff.

Update: Thanks to the heavy support during a very dark part of my tekken journey and one that’s been rough for the community worldwide I’m here to tell you that I can’t thank the people supporting me enough whenever I hit the go live button because had it not been for that I think we could have truly seen the end of AyoRichie X Tekken but I was able to keep my sanity and focus on outside factors which kept my mental strong and now I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in years The competitive tekken journey will resume after the next patch, to the aspiring Leo players around the world thank you for your patience I will be back coaching from after June the 3rd also Can’t put into words how much I appreciate all your support but the grind continues soon❤️

I'm trying to keep a positive spin on this... I've been genuinely excited about these 2 new controllers for a while now. I think they fill needs the Juryo simply didn't cover well (size and price, respectively) I just assumed I'd also still make the Juryo this whole time too 💀

Some big updates on what's happening with Basho going forward: Because we can no longer buy the parts we need for the Juryo we're going to soft-retire that model for the time being. I'm pretty bummed about it🥲 It'll return someday if I ever find another supplier for the parts
