i pay school fees for my children to be in school to learn, not for someone else to start using them to make income for themselves, with or without my permission. as a teacher, using school children to make contents shouldn't be your target, especially without express approval from all the children themselves and their guardians. children attention span is very short, the moment you start using them for contents and it is constant, their focus changes and start looking forward to the next shoot, do you think that won't affect their normal daily studies? yall expect everyone to feel in your with your woke ideology without considering their own valid concerns. you maybe okay with seeing your children on tiktok or wherever, anyone not okay with it is also allowed to complain and stop it. you just cant mock them cos you feel it is okay.

I don't care about the corper being male. Children is school shouldn't be used to make social media content! I see female teachers doing same on TikTok and I say the same thing cos my focus is not the gender, it's the children.

The conversation about creating content with one’s child is pretty dicey. The arguments for and against are all very valid. Personally, I don’t like the idea of using a child to create content. Especially when the child is carrying the page 100%. That’s just me. On the other hand, I am of the opinion that if you want your child in front of the camera like that, just ensure that there’s the element of moderation. Children have very low attention span and they get bored. You cannot tell me that your child wants to be in front of the camera all the time. Such that when this child is not in the mood to be in your camera, you leave them alone. Because adults get high on clicks and engagement that they don’t know when they begin abusing a child because they simply don’t want to create content. A child will eventually become an adult someday and what if content creation is just not the path they want to follow? Children have autonomy, too. Exposing them to the world of the internet strips them of that autonomy way too early.

I attended KHMS the only reason to take pictures of the children was either for the yearbook or a school billboard and it’s not all parents that even consented to this. Nowadays, we see teachers posting their pupils on the internet. For what?

I hate this everything content culture so much. Let it perish please. Schools should not have a social media arm. Children should not be dancing with an audience in mind. Teachers and primary school children should not be friends.
