What’s dangerous about someone like Talarico is that he’s not progressive on policy. Doesn’t support single payer or an arms embargo, yet progressives are championing him. What can’t happen is progressives being fooled by rhetoric and marketing.

Because abortion is an issue that directly impacts every American that has a much cleaner and easier answer than "what do we do about Israel/Palestine", an issue that governors largely have no control over and is intensely more complicated.
You can keep saying "oppose genocide and apartheid" all day, but anyone that understands the issue understands how empty the rhetoric is, and how nothing down that road leads to any real solutions that would actually result in peace for all sides.
