you will not gaslight people about this “review”, this is how he talked about a woman struggling with her own mortality because of her cancer diagnosis. I don’t care that he didn’t like the album, he has every right not to, but he was outright cruel

i refuse to be quiet on this because olivia’s agreement to do this interview is unbelievably disgusting.
the other day i said that even though i didn’t like her album, i still had respect for olivia as an artist. i would like to revoke that statement. i’ve gradually lost my love for olivia since the sour era for a variety of reasons, but this is my breaking point.
you cannot say you have been a fan of a hateful man with his type of history of racism, misogyny, etc for a while and get away with it. there’s literally an 8+ minute compilation of him saying horrific things that should never be repeated.
also, stop making excuses for olivia. no more of this “she didn’t know” business. she is an adult, she made a poor decision, and she can deal with the consequences.
