Had a friend blow up last week, mid 6 figs to $3k.
Overall skill set is there, risk management was not.
First cycle, he's sharp & talented in my (biased) opinion. Currently no side income, which i told him i think is an issue.
What would your advise for him be?

tip: if you don't want to pay high fees on HyperEVM and don't mind waiting up to 1 minute for confirmations, switch to big blocks

@Hypurrfun being accused of crime ?

For the not-so informed:
1. $HPYH chart shows no signs of the news being frontrun. The candle is in the same minute as the Hypurrfun announcement.
2. $HPYH launched and bonded on Hpump before HYPE TGE. The dev is indie. They delivered what they set out to do. Many have remarked the AI agent (yap + trade) is good, much better than the other ones going around at the time (before the AI hype started).
Granted, I'm not aware of major developments since the completion of the agent (afaik just minor tweaks), but I like what I've seen. Underpromise, overdeliver. I have confidence the upcoming launchpad will be good - doubly so, since Loracle chose them to partner with.

Solana manlets and Multicoin coping on Hyperliquid is actually an amazing thing.
Why?
Only a few months ago, these people completely ignored Hyperliquid as if it were not existing.
Back then, the mindshare of HL was relatively very low on CT that I made a "Hyperliquid mentioned" image and posted it when HL was mentioned by a non-community account.
Look how far we've come.
First, they said HL is a scam farming users.
After HL became the #1 perp DEX, they said that HL is nothing special and users will abandon it after farming ends.
After the points program ended, they said the community allocation won't be that high.
After $HYPE TGE announcement, they said the token will dump so bad it'll kill the product.
After $HYPE outperformed other alts, they're relentlessly claiming that it's not DeFi nor a Layer 1, but only a cult.
What will be their excuse after validator decntralization and HyperEVM launches successfully?

It's inspiring to see tens of thousands of community members secure life-changing wealth as part of the Hyperliquid genesis event. Importantly, none of these people were insiders. They:
1) believed in the vision for a better financial system when no one else would
2) acted on that conviction by using and building upon the nascent technology, bootstrapping an unstoppable financial network
The Hyperliquid genesis pays homage to the original ethos of Bitcoin: ownership goes to the believers and doers, not rent-seeking insiders.
For all you early believers, thank you for the unwavering faith and support. Hyperliquid would be nowhere without you all. I'm grateful and honored to be building alongside you.

Looking back, we've come a long way. But looking ahead, there's so much further to go.
Finance is humanity's greatest invention. It is the only effective way to coordinate human effort across time and space. Yet, the legacy financial system contradicts its underlying goal of empowering individuals:
- it is opaque and centralized
- it is owned and operated by privileged insiders
- it doesn't embrace technological innovation to better serve users
Hyperliquid is the evolution of finance. And Hyperliquid has not succeeded until it houses all of finance. If you're reading this now, you're still early. The new financial system welcomes you with open arms.
