I'm actually so confused how some mid 20 year olds are surviving with no job. They just sit online all day every day doom scrolling, streaming to 4 people and playing video games... How do you live? How do you make money? How are you content with having no path and no ambition in life? I'm genuinely curious.

Kinda wild that Interstellar was considered one of the weakest Nolan movies when it released and 10 years later it has retroactively been regarded as arguably Nolan’s best for many people worldwide. Just goes to show how much public perception of a film can change so much over time

alcohol is underrated. i’ll never completely give it up. dangerous and not exactly healthy, but it has a certain masculinity to it makes you more creative and fearless. two qualities our society lacks. why do they want people to drink less.. so they can live longer, in fear?

Nobody uses X irl, this is true. The majority of population is not interested in anything — in the literal sense. so that renders the app useless for most. I always get asked “what do you use it for” because the extent of most peoples interests is maybe sports and at that point doomscrolling short form is better. X is completely disconnected from reality and u get some form of psychosis by default using it. I have a suspicion that a MUCH greater % of the app sees the same posts than we realize. Our whole feeds are likely very similar regardless of niche. This being said it’s not necessarily a bad thing as X also has the highest concentration of intelligent people and novel content. It bleeds down into culture.

how can asian women eat so much and stay skinny asian girls in the west are quite similar to white girls. they eat consciously and they do lots of sports. but asian girls in asia are different. they eat A LOT with no regard for calories or macros, they just eat what they want, drink bubble tea, they hardly do ANY sports and yet they manage to stay skinny their bodies are usually very soft. i don't mean soft skin, the skin is also super soft, but just their whole body feels like they have no muscles but they are still skinny as a fellow asian girl enjoyer, i will allow it but i do wonder what's going on there
