@abdallah1111233 It only seems that way because of the algorithm amplifying those kinds of tweets. I agree that casual xenophobia/racism permeates Japanese society but most Japanese people likely are not very concerned with other countries and their people.

Se depende de la persona y la relación entre los hablantes. Si es una persona que le gusta buscar pelea o no le importa el contrato social, es posible que sean muy arrogantes.

@Shadowhalk225 To an extent. Japanese people tend to be less vocal with their criticisms of Japan but just like any other country/community, they are more likely to take criticism in stride if it comes from a fellow Japanese person.

@EvilRagnarok02 En las redes sociales, sí se puede decir eso pero en realidad no son tan agresivos y ruidos. La xenofobia impregna todos aspectos de la sociedad pero los japoneses no suelen decir lo que piensan.

Puede que la mitad del país sea racista y supremacista frente al mundo, pero la otra mitad sea centrada y normal , sin embargo la mitad racista es la que más ruido hace dando mala imagen a dicho país.

@datwuh I think it's reductive to lump together all Japanese people. A lot of what we're seeing is the worst of Japan and the worst of the West collide, because that seems to be what this website likes to promote. But they are a minority of people in real life. Generalization is bad.
