@fgx195 @alt911theories You would either be self-incriminating by claiming the deduction honestly against declared income from illegal activity, meaning it would later be disallowed, or you'd be claiming it fraudulently by not declaring or misrepresenting the income it was being claimed against.

@alt911theories While you can declare income from illegal activities and have it be assessable income for tax purposes, you cannot claim deductions for costs incurred in the furtherance of those activities as it was made explicitly not deductible by law.
