Idc how you feel. By definition muddled is what happening to us. They stripped our ancestors of their actual culture and tribe’s history. OUR “culture” starts at slavery when it all blended into one. Culture is contemporary and def is a blob, which I didn’t even speak on.

While I will respect your opinion since you are from there, what I saw with my own eyes when I went to LA wasn’t imagination. But that “melting pot” myth of “unity” and “solidarity” that’s sold about major cities like LA, NY, Miami is detrimental illusion.

@NotAntXIV I went to college in Charlotte. It was always new people coming, but it ballooned overnight. Particularly from the Northeast. NC in general is a hotspot for transplants at this point, and the natives aren’t really prioritized. But definitely the major cities.
