Gosh, today felt like someone died. I lost my job... I want to share this with you all who really want to be a part of web3: the best and worst thing about being a Community Manager is that we are bound to our community. This is not a job for the mindless grinders and selfish traders. Good community managers actually care about you, how your day looks, how your family is, how you spend the rest of your hard-working day. We want to make sure that you feel that it was worth it. I did all that I could to make this journey as happy and fun as possible. For everyone that follows me and my work, all I can say is sorry. Seeing the amount of posts of people calling us scammers and saying that they don't believe in anything anymore makes me feel like the opposite of everything that I wished you would get from The Haven. Again, sorry. I f***ing lost my job. I have a 5-month-old baby to feed, and losing my main source of income like this is hard, like a punch in the face, but I will go to the grave with the certainty that our community team did the best work possible. Sorry, but what we did was a f***ing piece of art. We ran multiple games, live streams, classes, karaokes, A.M.A.s, poker tournaments, in 10+ different languages. CampHaven was designed and shipped with 200+ personalized quests collecting real feedback and changing things on the spot. Out of those 200, only 16 had to be republished due to problems, that is less than 10% while doing something that no one has ever done before. Frustration is the word that describes the smell of the air right now, but in the end, pride will be what I feel. Real connections, hard work, no BS. To wrap this up, I just want to say: I know that you are frustrated about the hours you dedicated. I hope that you developed connections and skills in the meantime, but there are some people that actually felt it more than you, so let me send a huge shoutout to @paulataks_xyz and @Fajucar_xyz who led all the leaderboards from all seasons. And for the one that felt it the most: thank you @real_NFT for being the most human and lovely coworker that I ever had the pleasure of working with. You are a work of art.
