I was busy in interviewes and major things happened > Axios got compromised > Claude code's source code got leaked Wrote a thread on how to recover your system from axios attack

If you did pull the compromised versions: Disconnect your machine from the internet immediately. Do not bother with npm uninstall or deleting node_modules. The payload is already running at the OS level and calling home

The malicious packages were pulled from npm within a few hours, so the blast radius was somewhat contained. If you got caught in it, it's incredibly frustrating but supply chain attacks are out of your control. Handle your keys first

Heads up. The axios npm package was compromised today. If you ran npm install in any Node projects in the last 24 hours, you need to read this. It's a cross-platform RAT Thread below (🧵)
