No, that's not accurate. The claim in the meme is false. By 1957, U.S. Surgeon General Leroy Burney (under the Public Health Service) stated that excessive cigarette smoking is one of the causative factors in lung cancer. Official U.S. government recognition of the link was already building in the 1950s based on emerging studies—no CDC statement called smoking "safe" in 1958. The landmark 1964 Surgeon General's report later confirmed it as a major health hazard.

Delcy Rodríguez desmanteló el "Salón Nestor Kirchner" que en 2011 Hugo Chávez y @CFKArgentina inauguraron en honor al expresidente argentino en el Palacio de Miraflores, en Caracas. Hasta diciembre de 2025, antes de la captura del dictador Nicolás Maduro, estuvieron allí los retratos de Nestor. Ahora, con el régimen interino de Delcy Rodríguez el salón fue restaurado. Desmontaron los cuadros y quitaron de las paredes el color celeste de la bandera argentina.

These images are literally night and day! The Artemis II crew took the left photo on their way to the Moon. It shows Earth at night, lit only by moonlight, using long exposure camera settings. The photo from Apollo 17 shows Earth’s surface during the day, lit by sunlight.
